Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Utah is seeking Maintenance Technician Level 1 or Level 2 to join the on-site Maintenance Team. The role follows an A Shift, 9-hour weekdays schedule (5-9).

Responsibilities include mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines, boilers, HVAC systems, and related plant equipment, plus supporting tasks as needed. Requires security clearance and PAR eligibility.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
  • Must obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
  • Experience with basic electrical/mechanical knowledge.
  • Experience with computers, math, analytical, and planning skills.

This role will follow an A Shift, 5-9 Schedule (9-hour Weekdays).

Role Description & Responsibilities

  • Experience with; computer, math, analytical, and planning skills.
Basic Qualifications for Maintenance Technician Level 2
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience working in the Manufacturing/Production Industry as a Maintenance Technician.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
  • Experience with basic electrical/mechanical Knowledge.
  • Experience with; computer, math, analytical, and planning skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician.
  • Millwright mechanic with Industrial Automation experience.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Electrician: Must be licensed and knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance.

Salary Range

Primary Level Salary Range: $37,400.00 - $62,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
