Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician at our Clearfield, Utah location to support the Maintenance Team. The role follows an A Shift, 5-9 schedule (9-hour weekdays) and may be filled at Level 1 or Level 2 with responsibilities spanning mechanical and electrical upkeep of CNC machines, boilers, HVAC, and related plant equipment.

The position requires a high school diploma, ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
  • Experience with basic electrical/mechanical knowledge.
  • Experience with computer, math, analytical, and planning skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting on all equipment.
  • Perform routine mechanical/electrical/electronic preventive maintenance on plant equipment, CNC machines, Boilers, Autoclaves, HVAC, general lighting, air compressors, hydraulic systems, and overhead cranes.
  • Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned.

Description
Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician Level 1 or a Maintenance Technician Level 2 to support our Maintenance Team on site at our Clearfield, Utah location.
This role will follow an A Shift, 5-9 Schedule (9-hour Weekdays).
Role Description & Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Job Duties
  • Preform mechanical and or electrical trouble shooting on all equipment.
  • Perform routine mechanical / electrical/electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment, on our CNC machines, Boilers, Auto claves, HVAC, General lighting, Air compressors, Hydraulic systems, Overhead Bridge Cranes etc.
  • Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned.
This position may be filled as either a level 1 Maintenance Technician or a level 2 Maintenance Technician.
Basic Qualifications For Maintenance Technician Level 1
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
  • Experience with basic electrical/mechanical Knowledge.
  • Experience with; computer, math, analytical, and planning skills.
Basic Qualifications For Maintenance Technician Level 2
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience working in the Manufacturing/Production Industry as a Maintenance Technician.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
  • Experience with basic electrical/mechanical Knowledge.
  • Experience with; computer, math, analytical, and planning skills.
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
  • Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician.
  • Millwright mechanic with Industrial Automation experience.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Electrician: Must be licensed and knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $37,400.00 - $62,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
