Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Electrician Lead in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on calibrating electrical schematics, troubleshooting during downtime, and completing preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

The position offers a starting hourly rate of $40.00 with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and a 401(k). Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Ability to read electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training certificate preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and operating systems familiarity.
• Must multi-task and identify process improvements as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills related to production output and specifications.
• Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach, push/pull, and handle material for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and repairs.
• Supports Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to optimize production.
• Maintains and repairs the facility as needed.
• Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.

MCC is looking for a Maintenance Tech/Electrician Lead. The main duties of the Technician Lead are to ensure that all electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshooting during unscheduled equipment downtime, repairs and complete preventive maintenance service.

Responsibilities:

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.


• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment


• Performs duties including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines


• Supports an optimized production environment by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing and 5S


• Responsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility


• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in the electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications


• The ability to read electrical schematics and vocational maintenance training certificate preferred


• Requires basic knowledge of computers and operating systems


• Must have ability to multi-task and to identify and execute process improvements as needed


• Requires strong problem solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications


• Requires physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and use hands and fingers to feel and handle material for extended time frames


• Must have ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly.


• Includes the ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed


• This position requires frequent walking.
