Job summary

MCC is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Electrician in Kentucky to keep production equipment running, calibrate electrical schematics and instrumentation, and perform preventive maintenance. You will troubleshoot during downtime and coordinate repairs in a multi-shift environment.

The role supports Lean Manufacturing and 5S, requires the ability to read schematics, and perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic work. Previous maintenance experience and vocational training are preferred.

Qualifications

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Ability to read electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training certificate preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and operating systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment
• Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines
• Supports an optimized production environment by applying Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
• Maintains and performs repairs to the facility
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
