Landmark Realty, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service apartment communities. You will handle general plumbing, electrical tasks, appliance servicing, and on-site repairs to keep units in good working order.

This role requires own tools, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. You will work with a team, follow safety procedures, and assist in maintaining inventory and responding to resident requests.

Qualificações

• Possesses basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, painting, and other basic handyman processes.
• Provides/uses own tools, including smartphone for maintenance tickets.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Maintains good safety habits and neat appearance.
• Thorough, reliable, responsible, honest, organized, flexible, and service-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Service appliances and general plumbing/electrical needs of the property.
• Inspect and repair fixtures such as toilets, switches, disposals, fans, etc.
• Re-key locks and assist in inventory of tools and supplies.
• Replace bulbs and lighting fixtures in units and exteriors as needed.
• Perform corrective maintenance and respond to resident requests per procedures.
• Observe apartment and property conditions and report unusual circumstances.
• Conduct regular grounds, building, and equipment inspections per direction.
• Know power, water, and gas shutoffs and safety equipment locations.
• Enter occupied apartments to perform repairs and clean up after work.
• Notify supervisor/manager about supplies needed to complete tasks.
• Perform pool and spa maintenance as directed.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures and attend trainings.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Service appliances, as requested.
• Services general plumbing and basic electrical needs of the property to include replacing/fixing toilets, light switches, garbage disposals, ceiling fans, etc.
• Re-key locks, as requested
• Assists in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Replace burned-out light bulbs, broken globes, etc., in units and throughout the exterior of the property, as needed
• Performs corrective maintenance and satisfies residents’ needs following company procedures when performing service requests
• Observes the condition of the apartment and report any unusual circumstances (Size/number of pets, unauthorized occupants, illegal activity, etc.)
• Observes the condition of the property in general and report any unusual circumstances
• Makes regular inspection of the grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment, as directed
• Should be familiar with the location of power, water, and gas turnoff valves, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers, and fire hydrants on the property
• Enters occupied apartments to perform necessary repairs
• Cleans up thoroughly after performing work
• Notifies Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager, as directed, regarding any supplies necessary to complete service requests
• Performs pool and spa maintenance, as directed
• Follows company procedures regarding safety and emergencies
• Attends employee meetings and training seminars, as requested
• Wears company uniform and badge during work hours
