Job summary

Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing in Van Buren, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our production line running safely and reliably. You will diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English to perform job duties effectively and safely.
• 2–3 years of qualified maintenance experience.
• Education – 2-year degree from a technical or trade school.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment dependability.
• Identify and correct issues involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
• Provide support with PLC and computer-based diagnostics when necessary.
• Review and understand blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, equipment manuals, and related documentation.
