Job summary

Greenbridge is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain equipment across the production floor, warehouse and the office area. You will repair/replace extrusion line equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and coordinate with maintenance manager to schedule repairs.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing and maintenance, with vocational coursework preferred, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and the ability to work independently or with others in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with a track record of improvements.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a maintenance environment with a track record of improvements.
• Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair / replace extrusion process line equipment as needed to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Prioritize breakdowns based on input from production.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems in coordination with production personnel.
• Ensuring work orders are completed in a timely fashion and all parts used are accounted for.
• Diagnose and repair equipment promptly or escalate to Maintenance Manager if repairs exceed allotted time.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Clean machines and parts, reassemble as needed.
• Oil and lubricate moving parts for optimal performance.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Collaborate with production manager or plant engineer on new products and required modifications.
• Implement tests and make adjustments based on test results.
