Job summary

DanHil Containers is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production by ensuring maximum equipment uptime through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. You will work with machine operators and supervisors to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues and maintain a safe working environment.

The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric controls, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Practical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric machine controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to work weekends and extended shifts as needed.
• 1+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment failures and production interruptions.
• Diagnose, modify, lubricate, and operate equipment while maintaining industrial control systems.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and safe repairs.
• Complete and report all repairs at the end of the shift, including required documentation of parts and material usage.
• Follow plant safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ensure facilities and production equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient working condition.
• Perform setup, startup, shutdowns, maintenance repairs, and PMs on production equipment.
• Utilize a wide variety of machine tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
