Job summary

Parker Hannifin’s Parflex Division in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Maintenance/Millwright-like technician to keep production machinery running efficiently. The role emphasizes troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, with a focus on safety and lean practices.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years maintaining machines in manufacturing, and the ability to read schematics and part drawings.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED; college or trade preferred.
• Must be able to read/work orders and blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Basic understanding of lean fundamentals and troubleshooting skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help resolve maintenance issues and minimize downtime.
• Support production by maintaining machinery regularly.
• Improve machine fixtures, implement modifications, and perform repairs as needed.
• Follow up on work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure machine guarding and perform safety audits on equipment.
• Support engineering and operational improvement projects as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work area following 5S practices.
• Report production issues to Plant Engineer.
• Perform work of equal or lower classification.
