We have an immediate opening for a part-time Maintenance/Janitorial person at one of our associations in the Melbourne Beach Market. This position is 29 hours a week. The Maintenance/Janitorial position is responsible for the quality completion of all tasks and projects at their assigned association. Duties may include janitorial cleaning, small routine repairs, and miscellaneous items as assigned. This position requires interaction with homeowners, vendors, HOA community managers, and the Association Board of Directors. The Maintenance Technician maintains policies, standards, and practices, and ensures adherence to Sentry’s Goals, Values, and Service Standards of our Foundation Principles.

General Responsibilities

• Clean elevator interior, electric eyes, door grooves, and frame. Polish stainless steel elevator doors inside and out, and walls. Mop elevator floor.
• Clean mailbox area in lobby. Wipe down front of mailboxes.
• Polish and clean windows, glass doors, door handles, and window sills to ensure they are free of smudges and streaks.
• Wash down and deodorize multiple empty trash receptacles.
• Power wash walkways and landings.
• Complete necessary checklists and work orders as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment throughout the building/property(s).
• Follow all safety precautions and use PPE properly while performing duties.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager or the Association Board of Directors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions.
• Physical requirements may vary based on duties assigned.
