MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IV (PRESSES) - D SHIFT (NIGHTS)

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician IV will perform complex mechanical and electrical duties, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld devices or laptops.
• Design and modify programs and software for PLCs and operator panels.
• Install and maintain electrical equipment and systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues from blueprints and layouts.
• Work with load requirements and electrical codes.
• Manage communication systems, VFDs, and process control instrumentation.
• Lead projects to improve processes and equipment efficiency.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical license preferred.
• Associate Degree in Industrial Electronics preferred.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including electrical.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to read blueprints, troubleshoot electrical systems, and test motors and circuits.

Physical and Work Environment

Must be able to stand, reach, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. Exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, variable temperatures, and loud noise is expected. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
