Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Maintenance professional to independently support the maintenance department, train junior technicians, and drive safety, reliability, and process improvements. You will work with reliability engineers on maintenance program development, RCA, and RCM analyses, and may lead workshops while serving as an SME in advanced skilled trades.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety, GMP regulations, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure equipment reliability and quality

Qualifications

  • HS diploma with 10+ yrs. experience or College degree, college certificate, or formal apprenticeship and 5+ years of work experience related to skilled trades or other relevant technical degree
  • CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
  • Intermediate skills with MS Windows.
  • Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e., machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)
  • Electrical skills and knowledge is require
  • Knowledgeable in electrical systems up to 3 phase 480V
  • Can troubleshoot electrical issues down to component level and replace failed components
  • Can read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings

  • Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations
  • Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization

Job Description

Independently perform Senior level support within the maintenance department. Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks. Drives technical, safety, and process improvement efforts using a variety of industry methods.
