Maintenance Technician/Industrial Mechanic

KIT is accepting applications for a Maintenance Technician/Industrial Mechanic for our production facility in Caldwell, Idaho. For over 70 years, KIT Home Builders has been perfecting the art of building quality, affordable, and customizable manufactured homes in Idaho. We have helped thousands of families fulfill their dreams of owning a new custom home. As a locally owned and operated company, we aim to provide personalized service, options, and high quality. We offer competitive wages of $21-$25 DOE, with monetary and/or vacation days awarded every 90 days for good attendance.

Responsibilities
  • Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and structures:
    • Motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, woodworking machinery
    • Plumbing, hydraulic, electrical, and automated systems
Requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of industrial woodworking machines (CNC Routers, Molders, Edge Banders, Beam Saws, Wide Belt Sanders)
  • Perform maintenance and repairs in electrical, mechanical, woodworking machinery, hydraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot and support installation of new equipment and improvements
  • Basic design and fabrication skills for repairs and process improvements
  • Consistent attendance, availability for required hours, including some overtime and Saturdays
