Job summary

ImageTek Mfg. in North Springfield, VT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable contract manufacturing operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical failures, and drive uptime across die cutting, laminating, and molding equipment. The role involves troubleshooting in 480V three-phase systems, repairing components, and coordinating with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve performance and safety.

Qualifications

Demonstrated industrial mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.
Experience diagnosing and repairing manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals; safely use hand tools and diagnostic instruments.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults on presses, molding machines, laminators, conveyors, and automated equipment.
Troubleshoot 480V three-phase machine power systems and associated transformers, motor controls, and lower-voltage circuits.
Test and diagnose motors, contactors, relays, fuses, sensors, heaters, VFDs, and control components using schematics and instruments.
Identify faults in PLC-controlled equipment and escalate programming changes when needed.
Repair or replace bearings, belts, gears, and other mechanical components; verify safe operation after repairs.
