Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, is hiring a Maintenance Worker in West Valley City, Utah. This role performs mechanical and electrical maintenance, uses hand and power tools, and assists in light fabrication and painting of equipment.

You will work in a safety-first environment, maintain equipment, support production changes, and drive the company vehicle for parts. A High School Diploma and 2 years maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience in general maintenance work.
• Must be able to drive the company vehicle and have a valid driver's license.
• Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance tasks.
• Light repair to machines and facility.
• Light fabrication of metal work and wood work.
• Paint production equipment and facility.
• Move production equipment in line changes.
• Replace lubrication and heat transfer fluids in production equipment.
• Maintain fans, compressors, air dryers, and chillers.
• Replace lighting and ballasts as needed.
• Assist in companywide recycling program of materials and chemicals.
• Drive company vehicle to pick up parts and materials.
• Other maintenance related duties as assigned.
