Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform PMs, diagnose and repair plant equipment including compressors, pumps, fans, and other process machinery.

You will startup/shutdown equipment, monitor usage, and write MAXIMO work orders for maintenance. A high school diploma and 2+ years’ experience are required, along with a valid driver’s license and ability to work overtime and various shifts.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work overtime or on-call as needed.
  • Ability to work in varying climate conditions and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PMs, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment including high/low speed compressors, air compressors, pumps, fans, blowers.
  • Perform routine startup and shutdown of equipment and processes.
  • Monitor utilities, fuel, chemicals, and lubricants to prevent excess consumption.
  • Recognize and respond to dangerous conditions and shutdowns when required to protect personnel and equipment.
  • Write work orders in MAXIMO for routine and major maintenance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Operate field amine & glycol treaters.
