Job summary

The Collier Companies seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Ocala team. This on-site role collaborates with the Maintenance Team to ensure our properties meet high standards and provide residents with a safe, comfortable home.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC (if certified), electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and appliance issues while delivering friendly, timely service and reliable responses.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal certification is a plus.
• At least 1 year as a maintenance technician preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances is expected.
• Must have basic tools and reliable transportation.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights/weekends and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance team to keep properties up to standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry and appliances as needed.
• Pass basic maintenance tests and respond to emergencies on-site.

The Collier Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team!This is an on-site role, reporting from one of The Collier Companies’ community offices in Ocala, which offers abundant horse farms, the Ocala National Forest, and many natural springs and experiences. It is home to the Silver Springs and the World Equestrian Center. Ocala is home to some of the top tourist attractions in Florida.As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the Maintenance Team in ensuring that the physical aspects of the property meet The Collier Company’s established standards. The Maintenance Technician is an expert at troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and making solutions with a customer service attitude.
