The Collier Companies in Ocala, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a full-time on-site role. You will oversee the maintenance team, troubleshoot issues, and manage repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and appliances to meet property standards.

The position requires at least 2 years in a supervisory maintenance role, strong organization, vendor recruitment, and customer-service orientation. An EPA HVAC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Maintenance/Service Manager or equivalent supervisory role.
• Experience in conventional maintenance.

Job Overview

Maintenance Supervisor – Full Time – Ocala, FL. Reports to the community office. Responsible for maintaining the physical property standards, troubleshooting, and overseeing repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage the maintenance team to ensure that the property meets The Collier Company’s standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and develop solutions with a customer‑service attitude.
• Oversee repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliances.
• Comply with emergency‑on‑call (EOC) participation as a requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Maintenance/Service Manager or an equivalent supervisory position.
• Experience in conventional maintenance preferred.
• Self‑starter with a strong eye for detail, extremely organized, and detail‑orientated.
• Ability to recruit vendors and establish long‑term relationships with current and new vendors.
• Experience using Entrata Property Management Software is a plus.
• EPA certified with a strong HVAC skill set (strongly preferred).
• Proven track record of excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
