Shift Details: 12-hour shift (6pm-6am) 2-2-3 (2 nights on, 2 nights off, every other weekend)

Position Summary & Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for performing corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance on process equipment within the assigned area. This role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to ensure optimal equipment operation. Additionally, the technician will provide basic mechanical training to Production Operators and support continuous improvement projects.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Complete emergency repairs, rebuilds, changeovers, and inspections on process-related equipment. Install, inspect, test, adjust, repair, and perform line turnarounds and changeovers in a timely manner.
  • Document activities in the work order system in compliance with cGMPs.
  • Monitor equipment and system performance through data analysis.
  • Use testing tools and measuring equipment for troubleshooting electronic, environmental, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical line equipment.
  • Train operators on equipment setup and minor repairs.
  • Install new equipment and oversee upgrades per SOPs.
  • Maintain organization of work areas through 5S activities.
  • Follow SOPs, cGMPs, and safety procedures, including OSHA guidelines.
  • Review Material Safety Data Sheets for chemicals used.
  • Maintain accurate batch records and GMP documentation.
  • Work independently under supervision, supporting daily activities and projects.
  • Support aseptic processing and gowning certifications as needed.
  • Perform cleaning and housekeeping to maintain a cGMP environment.
  • Assist with overtime and emergency support as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in a regulated production environment, with equipment maintenance responsibility.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Ability to handle equipment change parts, tools, and materials.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma and skilled trade certification (e.g., electrical, boiler operations).
  • Associate degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience with fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, electrical systems, and emergency generators.
