Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm), 2-2-3 rotation (2 days on, 2 days off, every other weekend)

Position Summary & Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for performing corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance on process equipment within the assigned area. This role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to ensure optimal equipment operation. Additionally, the technician will provide basic mechanical training to Production Operators and support continuous improvement projects.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Complete emergency repairs, rebuilds, changeovers, and inspections on process equipment, adhering to established procedures in a timely manner.
  • Document activities accurately in the work order system in compliance with cGMPs.
  • Monitor equipment and system performance using data analysis.
  • Utilize testing tools and measuring equipment for troubleshooting electronic, environmental, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment.
  • Train operators on equipment setup and minor repairs.
  • Install and upgrade equipment following SOPs.
  • Maintain organization through 5S activities.
  • Follow SOPs, cGMPs, and safety procedures, including OSHA guidelines.
  • Maintain chemical MSDS knowledge.
  • Complete batch records and GMP documentation, performing necessary calculations.
  • Work independently under supervision from leads or managers.
  • Support daily PET activities as Technician or Mechanical Technician.
  • Apply problem-solving techniques for repairs.
  • Follow MRO procedures and manage inventory.
  • Assist in project follow-up and validation activities.
  • Maintain required certifications for aseptic processing and gowning.
  • Perform cleaning and housekeeping to maintain a cGMP environment.
  • Support additional duties as assigned, including overtime and emergency support.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in a regulated production environment, focusing on equipment maintenance and performance.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communication in English.
  • Ability to lift and handle maintenance equipment and parts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma with certification in a skilled trade (e.g., electrical, boiler operations).
  • Associate degree in a technical field.
  • Experience with fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, electrical systems, and emergency generators.
