Job summary

American Woodmark Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair, adjust, and maintain equipment daily in a manufacturing environment. This role requires forklift certification, reading electrical schematics, and hands-on expertise with robotic/CNC systems.

The incumbent will ensure machinery uptime, implement process improvements, and follow safety protocols to protect workers and production quality. Ideal candidates will have at least 7 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: At least 7 years of relevant work experience is required.
Knowledge: Robotic/CNC systems and ability to support electronic interfaces for automated production equipment.
Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and blueprints.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment.
Maintains and repairs all production equipment.
Edits programs to accommodate new procedures on existing equipment.
Edits programs to control conveyors or stacking machinery.
Changes motors and performs general electrical and mechanical repairs.
Performs pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.
Installs/moves machines.
Performs building maintenance repairs.
Adheres to safety policies and reports deviations.
Participates in process improvements and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
