Compleat Kidz is seeking a Maintenance Technician III / Handyman to perform advanced maintenance, repairs, and improvements in a pediatric clinic environment. You will ensure safety, functionality, and a welcoming space for patients and staff, with emphasis on carpentry, preventive maintenance, and minor construction tasks.

The role operates independently across clinic locations, supporting operations with minimal disruption, and requires driving the company vehicle as needed in Chapel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or trade certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance or handyman experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions; must drive company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility maintenance and repairs across clinic locations.

• Assist with minor plumbing and electrical repairs.

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician III / Handyman is responsible for performing advanced maintenance, repair, and improvement work in a healthcare clinic environment. This position ensures the facility remains safe, functional, compliant, and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors. The role requires strong general maintenance knowledge with an emphasis on carpentry, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor construction projects.

The technician works independently on a wide range of facility systems and repairs while supporting clinic operations with minimal disruption to operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform routine facility maintenance and repairs across clinic locations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
• Complete basic carpentry, drywall, painting, and fixture repairs.
• Assist with minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.

• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and reaching.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
• May require occasional evening, weekend, or on-call work.

Work Environment
