Join our team as a Level III Maintenance Technician. You will collaborate with a dedicated and diverse team to support safe and smooth plant operations by continuously improving our machinery and maintenance reliability. You will also have an opportunity to gain experience in your role and learn on the job while you receive additional maintenance certifications and training. The Maintenance Tech III is an advanced level of technician. Associates in this classification are required to have previous experience and knowledge of the fundamentals of industrial maintenance and systems, which is typically attained through the Maintenance Technician II classification and certification.
High School Diploma or GED and Equivalent Experience.
5-8 Years experience in Industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on Mechanical and Electrical Equipment, and/or Equivalent Military Experience. Expert Proficiency in Hydraulics, Mechanics, Electrical, Welding and Rigging. Intermediate Proficiency with PLC. Commitment to Continuous Learning to achieve increasing levels of expertise. Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing. Maintain Perdue Farms QEW Certification.
2-yr Technical Degree in Engineering or Industrial Maintenance.
Sitting, standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, reaching overhead and/or at shoulder level, lifting (50 lbs.) and/or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Position requires occasional moving to other offices or buildings. Day travel to nearby locations sometimes required.
