We are looking for a Maintenance Technician III to join the team at The Historic Powhatan! In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining the guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-the-house areas in good repair, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property.

Our Facilities Department operates 7 days per week. Maintenance Team Members may work varying shifts.

Responsibilities Include

• Establishing clear communication with engineering leadership.
• Assisting other maintenance staff on special projects.
• Maintaining detailed records for logs and inspection sheets.
• Performing painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, and ceiling work.
• Troubleshooting plumbing fixtures, including drain cleaning.
• Performing other duties as assigned by your leader.

What are we looking for?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance.
• Ability to climb stairs, work on ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and grasp, stoop, reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Certifications

• EPA Universal Certification.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
• OSHA 10-30.
• Valid Driver's License.
