CRMG is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to upkeep The Magnolia / Magnolia 2 Apartments in NE Portland, OR. You will handle repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and landscaping, and supervise daily work orders and vendors.

Earn $34–$37/hr with full-time schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon-Fri, plus modest stipends and mileage reimbursement. Benefits begin after 30 days, including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, paid holidays, and time off.

Qualifications

• Two years in the Maintenance II position or three years of experience in a maintenance-related field.
• Prefer experience in property management for commercial or multi-family properties.
• Janitorial experience is preferred.
• Motivation, time management, and ability to work alone or in a team.
• Advanced knowledge of landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and flooring installation and repairs.
• Experience operating a pressure washer.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Knowledge of vacuum cleaners and janitorial equipment; safety-critical handling of chemicals.
• Available for after-hours emergencies.
• Reliable transportation to transport tools, including power washing equipment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and understand written and verbal communications.
• Understand and apply landlord/tenant laws, state and federal labor laws, Fair Housing Laws.

CRMG is looking for a Maintenance Technician III who can perform the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lot, and trash areas at the 100‑unit apartment community of The Magnolia / Magnolia 2 Apartments.

The Maintenance Technician III will be required to perform essential maintenance duties including repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and janitorial tasks under the guidance of experienced maintenance technicians. In addition, the Maintenance Technician III will be responsible for directing the daily work or special project assignments to maintenance staff in comparable or subordinate levels and outside vendors. The Maintenance Technician III must have amazing attention to detail, time management skills, and be comfortable managing work orders using technology.

Location: The Magnolia, Magnolia 2 Apartments, NE Portland, OR

Hourly Rate: $34.00 - $37.00/hr.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM or similar

Weekly Contracted Hours: 40 hours

Additional Compensation: A monthly $50.00 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

What you will bring as the Maintenance Technician III

• Two (2) years in the Maintenance II position or three (3) years of experience in a maintenance related field, preferably in property management for commercial or multi‑family properties.
• Janitorial experience is preferred.
• Motivation, time management, and the ability to follow instructions working alone or as part of a team.
• Advanced knowledge of landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and installation and repair of flooring (required).
• Experience operating a pressure washer.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Knowledge and experience using a vacuum cleaner and other janitorial equipment, both manual and power, and handling chemicals with close attention to safety rules.
• Available for after‑hours emergencies.
• Reliable transportation capable of transporting necessary tools, including power washing equipment.
• Possess current and valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and clean driving record in order to run work‑related errands when needed.
• Ability to read, write and understand written and verbal communications and directions.
• Understand and administer landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and refrain from all illegal discrimination practices.
