Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities
- CompletePredictive & Preventative Maintenance programs
- Completemachine repair tasks as needed
- Completeinstallation of new equipment
- Worknormal shift as well as On-Call rotation
Job Duties
- Work independently, or within a group, tocomplete Maintenance tasks.
- Complete work using fundamental mechanical &electrical principles.
- Work within CMMS software to document workorders & maintain spare parts inventory.
- Troubleshoot & resolve problems independently,both during normal shift & On-Call.
- Communicate to all departments within theorganization.
- Work in a safemanner, following all relevant safety policies & procedures.
- Follow all established Good ManufacturingPractices (GMP’s).
- OtherDuties as assigned.
MinimumJob Requirements, Skills, Qualifications, Certifications and Licenses
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as aMaintenance / Electrical Repair Tech. or Millwright for JRS.
- Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulicsystems & electrical systems.
- Journeyman’s card or Associates degree inMaintenance Technology or similar field preferred.
- Strong self-motivation, trouble shooting skills& sense of urgency.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally& in writing.
- CMMS knowledge a plus.
- Basic PLC a plus (knowledge & understanding).
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Riggingknowledge & equipment installation is a plus.
Interactionsand Tools/Equipment Utilized in the Job
- Work with Production, QA,Maintenance & other departments as needed.
- Work with outside contractors asnecessary to complete projects/tasks.
- Operate company vehicles as needed(lift trucks, man-lifts, company cars, etc.)
- Accurately operate engineering test& measurement equipment.
- Utilize typical office equipment, i.e. computers, tablets, calculators,etc.
PhysicalRequirements
- Job requires frequent walking,climbing stairs & ladders, and standing for long periods of time, and alsooccasional work at heights, crawling kneeling & working in confined spaces.
- Job requires occasional work out ofman lifts and on roof structures at elevations up to 150’.
- Job includes occasional exposure toweather in all seasons.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. onoccasion.
- Occasionally must be able to work at a computer or on a tablet for longperiods.
Additional Information
- 8 hour shift Monday - Friday. Overtime as needed,On-Call Rotation
