As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and functionality of our properties, maintaining and enhancing residents' living experiences. Your responsibilities include diagnosing problems and making repairs to maintain the physical condition of the community, ensuring timely service requests and repairs. Key duties include:

1. Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features, and waste management systems.
2. Assisting with work order creation and organization, completing repairs according to standards and timelines.
3. Ensuring vacant apartments and garages are rent-ready, performing tasks such as cleaning, appliance repair, and painting.
4. Training and supervising Maintenance Technicians I and II.
5. Conducting preventative maintenance.
6. Daily inspection of grounds and buildings for maintenance needs.
7. Maintaining a safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures.
8. Performing hot works, such as brazing, soldering, and welding, within company standards.

You Have:

• Over 3 years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HVAC (CFC certifications or willingness to learn).
• Flexibility for on-call rotation.
• Strong communication skills for customer service.
• Ability to understand policies, safety data sheets, and proper chemical handling.
• Knowledge of PPE, emergency systems, and paint types.
