Qualifications

  • Responds promptly to tenant requests related to maintenance needs.
  • Participates in training programs including safety and technical skills.

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Repairs, maintains, and operates HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems with minimal supervision.
  • Participates in training programs including safety, technical skills, and personal development, maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Operates project HVAC equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handler units, and environmental control systems under supervision.
  • Maintains HVAC equipment and participates in testing life/safety systems like emergency power, sprinkler, fire alarm, and medical alarm systems.
  • Responds promptly to tenant requests related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other maintenance needs, keeping accurate logs.
  • Analyzes special projects including tenant construction, cost-saving initiatives, and manpower needs.
  • May work extended hours during emergencies.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Trade school graduate or 8 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 4 years of related maintenance experience.
  • Ability to use chemicals, supplies, and tools correctly.
  • Ability to work well with the public and colleagues.
  • Computer literate.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, and squat.

Pay Range: $20.71 - $28.48/hour
