Role: Maintenance Technician III
Duration: 6 Months (with potential for full-time conversion)
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts, 3:00 pm – 1:00 am
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production and packaging equipment. The position involves working with machinery such as lasers, burn tables, saws, and press brakes. Forklift training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on both new and legacy equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components.
- Calibrate, adjust, fabricate, and repair components to meet operational requirements.
- Set up and verify safety equipment in compliance with regulations.
- Use SAP (preferred) or similar systems to track maintenance activities.
- Operate forklifts (training provided).
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in maintenance or technician roles, preferably in industrial/manufacturing settings.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
- Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Understanding of hydraulic systems.
- Experience with lasers, burn tables, saws, and press brakes (or willingness to learn).
Tools & Systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, drills, and impact tools.
- Familiarity with SAP or other maintenance tracking software is a plus.
