• Extremely hands on with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to build small control cabinets with low and high voltage.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Detail oriented self-starter who works with little supervision.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of the machines including calibration, regularly scheduled maintenance and routine servicing.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues – 12&24 v dc, 120v, 240v, and 480v 3 phase circuits.
• Troubleshoot machines and equipment providing recommendations for repair.
• Ensure that shop is run consistent with in-house quality and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Read and understand Equipment Manuals and Electrical drawings.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
• Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Use lathes, mills, drills, and other machines to build replacement parts.
