Job summary

Confluent Medical Technologies, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Technician II in Chattanooga, TN to manufacture medical device tubing per specifications, including startup/shutdown of filmcast, wire drawing, and braiding equipment.

You will read and complete documentation, inspect products with measuring equipment, and support process improvements with engineering. The role requires 3-5 years of related manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, good communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 3-5 years related manufacturing experience.
• Prior filmcast and braiding experience preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot moderately complex process, equipment, and tooling issues.
• Forklift and aerial lift experience preferred, but not required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of GMP and line clearance procedures.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 500 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to work 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture medical device tubing per specifications, including startup and shutdown of filmcast, wire drawing, and braiding equipment.
• Clean work area, equipment, and tooling thoroughly.
• Read, follow, and accurately complete all provided documentation.
• Inspect product per specifications using specified measuring equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop new process parameters, tooling, and methods.
• Create clear and concise work instructions, test methods, and visual standards.
• Train other technicians/operators in manufacturing techniques and documentation.
• Communicate issues to engineering for continuous improvement.
