This position is for a full-time Maintenance Tech II at Wisteria Vista (91 units) and Birch Street (52 units) in Honolulu, HI, both LIHTC & RHRF properties. Candidates should have 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience, with skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and basic computer skills are required; Yardi Voyager experience is a plus. Salary ranges from $22.80 to $34.20 per hour, with a typical starting range of $22.80 to $28.50, DOE. Final salary offers will consider experience and current salary levels.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician II performs diverse maintenance duties, capable of handling most repairs independently on properties with 100+ units.

Responsibilities

1. Lock and key repairs and replacements, including weather stripping and lock systems
2. Interior repairs related to walls and doors
3. Electrical repairs such as fixtures, lighting, outlets, and switches
4. Changing AC filters, inspecting coils, cleaning, and repairs
5. Annual unit inspections
6. Ensuring unit turnover within 5 days

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience
• Knowledge in plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance
• Valid driver’s license, clean DMV record, reliable transportation
• HVAC certification preferred
