Entegris, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the weekend night shift (Fri–Mon, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM) in Bedford, MA.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment, work from drawings and manuals, and support safe, compliant operations within a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate has an AAS in electronics/electromechanics or related diploma, hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and PLCs, vacuum systems, RF networks,

Qualifications

• AAS degree in electronics/electromechanics or related field.
• Certificate or diploma in electrical/mechanical/control and automation engineering.
• Experience with maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electromechanical systems and PLCs.
• Experience with high vacuum systems (mechanical vacuum pumps, cryo/diffusion/turbo).
• Familiarity with RF power and tuning networks.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics; proficient with hand tools and meters.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety best practices and wear PPE on the production floor.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Work from drawings, diagrams, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair.
• Maintain up-to-date manuals for preventive maintenance and replacement parts.
• Maintain accurate files and documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve chronic equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Be available to work irregular hours or on-call for breakdowns or urgent projects.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and compliant at all times.

Maintenance Technician II Weekend Nights, Friday to Monday

Job Description:

Entegris is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the weekend night shift, 8PM-6:30am Friday to Monday, located in Bedford, Massachusetts. This position will report directly to the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor. Candidate will be responsible for daily production equipment maintenance both planned and unplanned activities based on priorities.

What You'll Do:

• Follow all safety best practices and always wear required PPE while on the production floor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with Entegris 6S standards.
• Fully comply with all Life Saving Rules, including proper use of LOTO and appropriate arc flash PPE.
• Work from drawings, diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and written or verbal instructions to perform troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform work within a cleanroom environment as required.
• Disassemble, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems.
• Maintain up to date manuals for preventive maintenance and replacement parts.
• Safely handle and work around process chemicals and gases.
• Maintain accurate files, records, and documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Be available to work irregular hours or return to the site in the event of unexpected equipment breakdowns or urgent projects.
• Promote and uphold safe and healthy working conditions across the department.
• Collaborate closely with process and equipment engineers to resolve chronic equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure full compliance with departmental safety procedures and company standards.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and compliant at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Communicate progress and status updates to your team and supervisor at the end of each shift

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• AAS Degree in Electronics/Electromechanics, Certificate / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Control and Automation Engineering
• Experience in equipment maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electromechanical, and PLCs.
• High vacuum experience, including mechanical vacuum pumps, cryo pumps, diffusion pumps, and turbo pumps
• Experience with RF electricity including tuning and matching networks
• Able to adapt to the changing needs of a high-paced manufacturing environment
• Knowledgeable with computer controls and systems including support equipment.
• Proficient in the use of most types of hand tools and meters
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively
• Able to diagnose and make correction for equipment faults and programming error effectively.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills, as well as sharp attention to detail
• Knowledge of SAP a plus
