• The new hire must reach 180 days of employment to receive the full bonus.
• The new hire must complete UniFirst’s 90-Day Probationary Period, adhering to attendance and performance policies.
• The new hire must not have been previously employed by UniFirst.

UniFirst seeks a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Tech II to join our community! As a Team Partner in Maintenance, you will handle repairs, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and systems. We operate Monday - Friday with periodic night and weekend overtime, and we provide on-the-job training.

Compensation: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour

Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting equipment problems using observation and testing instruments.
• Assisting with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
• Repairing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and control systems.
• Following blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Performing boiler chemical testing and system adjustments.
• Conducting safety checks and performing repairs on boilers.
• Inspecting and maintaining motors, belts, and other equipment parts.
• Performing basic welding repairs.
• Utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience or military equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintenance literature.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience required.
• Ability to work overtime and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
