Cascade Management in Hermiston, OR is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to keep buildings and grounds clean, safe, and in good repair, performing painting, plumbing, janitorial, routine appliance upkeep, and other related maintenance activities. The role requires coordinating with the Community Manager and completing work orders efficiently.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years in related trades, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 40% of the time.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years related experience in maintenance trades (electrical, plumbing, painting) or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and insurance is required
• Travel up to 40% of the time

Responsabilités

• Maintain building by performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, janitorial, routine appliance upkeep, and other related maintenance activities.
• Ensure repairs are completed in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Initiate and oversee maintenance projects up to $300; PM approval needed for higher amounts.
• Work with Community Manager on anticipated maintenance needs.
• Maintain sidewalks/grounds; assist with landscaping and turnover of vacant apartments.
• Schedule and conduct pre-move out inspections; cost out repairs and provide estimates to residents.
• Regularly check safety systems and perform inspections as directed.
• Requisition supplies; keep storeroom organized; update maintenance logs daily.
