Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to troubleshoot and repair production machines, analyze equipment issues, and plan daily maintenance strategies. The role emphasizes hands-on repairs, operating mill/lathe tools, welding, and adhering to safety protocols.

The position supports training others, setting up new equipment, and using the EAM system to log work. Qualifications include a GED, 3+ years maintenance experience, and the ability to obtain forklift/aerial licenses.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in a related technical field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience and/or technical training.
• Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills; machining experience with mill and lathe preferred.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and the Microsoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the plant using the work order system (EAM).
• Inspect and repair production equipment; assist in machine repairs and train others.
• Set up new equipment and troubleshoot with specialty tools; decide on repair methods.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to perform maintenance tasks.
• Apply machinist skills with a vertical mill and lathe; understand welding and fabrication.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and provide shift-end reports.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in training initiatives.
