Job summary

Micropore, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and facilities in Elkton, MD. You will work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, read drawings, and maintain documentation in our systems.

The role includes mentoring apprentices and junior technicians, supporting safety protocols, and coordinating with supervisors. Overtime and callback availability may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment.
• Hands-on pneumatics and hydraulics experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and manuals.
• Ability to install mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems from schematics.
• Diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs.
• Interpret P&ID diagrams and equipment manuals.
• Install mechanical components and systems.
• Document all activities in QT9 and other tools.
• Mentor junior technicians and support apprentices.
• Coordinate with contractors and safety inspections.
