Job summary

Micropore Inc. in Elkton, MD is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to maintain and repair facilities and equipment and to assist with production.

The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional overtime. Responsibilities include safe operating practices, performing diverse maintenance tasks, documenting work in QT9, and coordinating with engineers and production teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining industrial equipment and processes.
• Experience installing or modifying and qualifying production or QC testing equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and facilities are safe to use.
• Perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance tasks under minimal supervision.
• Document maintenance work in QT9.
• Assist with production and transportation of materials as needed.
• Assist contractors and inspectors.
