Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will perform general and specialized maintenance in a multi-family residential community, operating building systems and tools to meet quality standards. Your role requires effective communication, safety, and a commitment to excellent service.

  • Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance, installation, and repairs on various systems and appliances including plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and electrical.
  • Apply skills in two or more trades such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, or appliance repair.
  • Complete repairs and preventative maintenance in homes, common areas, and grounds.
  • Respond to resident requests within 24 hours and complete all work on vacant units according to standards.
  • Participate in emergency and on-call services, inspections, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain safety standards and proper use of tools and equipment.
Qualifications
  • At least two years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in trades such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, or appliance repair.
  • Preferred certifications include HVAC and EPA.
  • Good communication skills and ability to operate small tools and machinery.
  • Basic computer skills and a valid driver’s license; ability to operate a vehicle and travel as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
