Apogee Architectural Metals in Wausau, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for night shift. You will perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and document repairs in the system.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years as a maintenance mechanic, journeyman preferred, and strong skills with mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Join a team focused on safety and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance.
• 10+ years as a maintenance mechanic (journeyman preferred).
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience diagnosing complex manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures including lock out-tag out.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
• Repair and replace defective components.
• Operate welding, machining, multimeters and power tools.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and production operators.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I and provide skill development.
• Log maintenance activities in the system.
