YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT

The Neighbor Service Technician II is responsible for efficiently performing all general maintenance tasks, including service requests and turnover functions, to maintain and preserve the Neighborhood and provide a quality living environment for the Neighbors.

  • Customer Service – Ensure our Neighbors feel at HOME, well cared for, and proud to live in our Neighborhoods. Show them that tomorrow matters.
  • Daily Operations – Complete all phases of apartment turnovers and troubleshoot/repair major and minor mechanical systems. Assist Neighbors with appliance repairs, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting.

REQUIREMENTS

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities, and be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Education - High School Diploma or GED.
  • Availability - Must be available for on-call services.
  • Experience - Minimum of two years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance.
  • Communication Skills - Ability to speak, communicate, read, write, and understand English to ensure safety and serve customers.
  • Technical Skills - Basic computer proficiency and understanding of building materials and tools.
  • Physical Demands - Standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity. Outdoor work in moderate temperatures. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation

  • Pay Range: $28.00 to $31.25 per hour
  • Discretionary Semi-Annual Bonus Plan
  • Standby Pay & On-Call Premium Pay
