Perdue Farms is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic II to keep our poultry processing facility running smoothly. You will diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, and repair or install equipment to support reliable production.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, strong reading and math skills, and proficiency in multiple mechanical areas. Safety, teamwork, and quality are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Welding with oxy-acetylene and aluminum as needed.
• Hydraulics, pumps, refrigeration and piping systems.
• Electrical wiring, motors, and control circuits.
• Sheet metal fabrication and millwright skills.
• Pneumatics, plumbing, and carpentry basics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facility equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and install equipment.
• Respond to emergencies within 30 minutes and keep work areas clean.
