Job summary

Albuquerque Housing Authority is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to perform unskilled and semiskilled craftwork in maintaining AHA-owned residential properties. You will complete work orders, prepare units for new tenants, and perform outdoor maintenance on buildings and surrounding areas.

Knowledge of HVAC seasonal changeovers is preferred or candidates willing to learn. The position is non-exempt with a starting wage of $18.44 per hour in Albuquerque, NM, with a range up to $22.68.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NM Driver's License required.
• Three+ years of hands-on experience in residential maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform unskilled and semi-skilled craftwork in maintenance and repair of AHA-owned residential properties.
• Complete work orders for repairs in residential housing units.
• Prepare empty units for new tenants and perform outdoor maintenance on facilities and landscaped areas.
• HVAC seasonal changeovers or willingness to learn.
