Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to keep our Phoenix-area property safe and well-maintained. You will handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC, plus light carpentry and painting.

You'll implement preventative maintenance programs and maintain detailed records, while supporting guest satisfaction and collaborating with management on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge across hotel systems and equipment.
• Ability to dismantle and repair equipment to restore functionality.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, testing, filtration, and pool operations.
• Experience implementing and monitoring preventative maintenance programs.
• General building maintenance including electrical and plumbing knowledge.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and smooth-running hotel property and grounds.
• Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and HVAC.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair.
• Implement and monitor safety programs and regulatory compliance.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs.
• Contribute to guest experience through courteous service.
