Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Seattle to perform high-quality maintenance in our single-family rental homes while delivering outstanding resident service.
Responsibilities include completing maintenance requests across multiple trades, educating residents on home systems, and conducting proactive visits using our maintenance app. A valid driver’s license, 2–5+ years in residential maintenance, OSHA 10, and HVAC/CPO certifications are preferred.

As a Maintenance Technician at Invitation Homes, you will be performing high-quality maintenance work in our single-family rental homes while providing outstanding customer service to our residents.
This includes but is not limited to the following tasks:
High School diploma or equivalent 2-5+ years’ proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance; other building maintenance or related experience. OSHA 10 is required (new hires will have up to 90 days to complete OSHA 10 certification if not already certified). The following certifications are a plus: EPA Certification: Type I, Type II, and/or EPA Universal HVAC Certification; CPO certification (pool). Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills; multi-lingual is a plus. Comfortability using mobile devices (i.e. iPad and/or iPhone) and various mobile applications. Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems and ability to perform general repairs in some of the following: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior structural, HVAC (minor) and appliances. Some training will be provided.
Must possess a current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and any other licenses and/or certification as required by state law. Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis including occasional weekends and holidays. Ability to provide basic hand and power tools. Ability to perform work that requires the following: Frequent climbing, reaching, use of fingers, stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, and hearing. Ability to lift and/or move an excess of 50 pounds or more and operate standard maintenance equipment as assigned.

The salary range for this position is: $22.21 - $38.50, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
