Maintenance Technician II - Full Time *Weekly Pay*

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician II at Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina. Located in Florence, our community seeks a highly skilled and compassionate technician to create a warm, hospitable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing, coordinating, and supervising general and preventive maintenance to protect and maintain buildings, equipment, and systems.
  • Troubleshooting fire alarm and sprinkler systems, responding to emergency calls.
  • Diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, including toilet plunging, snaking, and parts replacement.
  • Troubleshooting electrical and appliance problems, performing basic repairs such as resetting breakers, replacing receptacles, and fixing lighting, fans, and appliances.
  • Conducting basic air conditioning system troubleshooting, including filter changes and coil cleaning.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment, moving and assembling furniture, repairing drywall, painting, and setting up landscape irrigation systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid South Carolina Driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • At least 1 year of maintenance experience in commercial facilities, schools, retirement communities, or hotels across disciplines such as plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, refrigeration, ground maintenance, masonry, or general maintenance. HVAC certification is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
