PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tavares is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to perform preventive and general maintenance across the facility and related equipment, ensuring a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors. The role includes security coverage in the absence of a security officer and other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and 1–2 years of related maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: One to two years related experience and/or training. General maintenance background experience required; hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and general maintenance and repair of facility and equipment to ensure a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Provide security in the absence of a security officer as needed and perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

The Maintenance Tech. II is responsible for preventive & general maintenance & repair of facility and associated equipment. These duties are performed in accordance with all applicable standards to provide a safe environment of care for employees, patients, & visitors of all ages. Other responsibilities include security in the absence of a security officer and other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: One to two years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. General Maintenance background experience required, hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required.
