Job Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician II capable of adjusting machines and equipment for optimal operation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical duties including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and replace electronic programmable controllers in a manufacturing setting.
• Troubleshoot PLCs using hand-held devices or laptops.
• Design and modify PLC programs and software.
• Set up and format computers and install applications.
• Diagnose electrical system issues from blueprints and specifications.
• Work with load calculations, serial communication systems, VFDs, and process control devices.
• Implement process improvements and safety protocols.
• Use electrician's tools and testing instruments.
• Report operational status and issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal PLC training preferred.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics is a plus.
• At least 3 years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work at heights with fall protection, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, stooping, and climbing.
• Exposure to mechanical parts, airborne particles, and varying temperatures in a loud environment.
