Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician II (Experienced) at Hilton Grand Vacations

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the 845-suite Historic Powhatan Resort, a Hilton Vacation Club, located on 256 acres in Williamsburg, Virginia. Our team is dedicated to creating memorable vacation experiences for our owners, members, and guests while fostering career growth within Hilton Grand Vacations.

Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Tech II, your primary responsibilities include maintaining guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-the-house areas to ensure the property remains attractive and well-maintained. Your focus will be on guest relations and problem resolution, working collaboratively with customers and staff to uphold the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with guests to resolve problems, troubleshoot and repair appliances, and perform basic air-conditioning controls.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures, replace filters, and troubleshoot drain issues.
• Inspect and repair guestrooms and public spaces, including replacing caulk, tile/grout, repairing doors and locks, inspecting for pests, and replacing appliance components.
• Replace light bulbs and ballasts, repair furniture and fixtures, touch-up paint, and perform minor carpentry repairs.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on plumbing and equipment, ensuring all tools and equipment function correctly.
• Communicate effectively with engineering leadership, assist with special projects, and maintain detailed records in English.
• Perform painting, stucco, drywall, staining, and ceiling texturing tasks.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance.
• Ability to follow instructions, climb stairs, work on ladders up to 40 feet, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of related experience and a valid driver’s license.
