Qualifications

• Completion of a maintenance apprenticeship or 5+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and machine repair experience.
• Electrical maintenance experience with motors, starters, circuits, breakers, and controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and solid-state control systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing computer-controlled manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machine tools, attachments, and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs, replacements, alignments, and adjustments.
• Fabricate replacement machine components such as shafts, pins, and bushings.
• Perform basic cutting, welding, and fabrication work.
• Complete preventive maintenance and complex equipment troubleshooting.
• Install and maintain electrical components, including motors, starters, lighting circuits, power circuits, and breakers.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and solid-state controls.
• Diagnose and repair computer-controlled manufacturing equipment.
• Use testing equipment and precision measuring instruments to identify equipment issues.
• Complete work orders and document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for parts and services.
• Support continuous improvement and 6S initiatives.
